Test File Builder:
To publish a braille table with Lib Louis, you will need to provide a test document, which is a YAML file. This document is used to ensure that Lib Louis is producing the desired braille that you are looking for. This YAML file needs to have two columns: the first one is a Print column, and the other is a Braille column. Niv Louie will build this file for you in a couple of easy steps.
In addition, this document will need to have a section with Meta Data. Niv Louie will automatically generate this section from the information which you put into the boxes when you created the project.
To build a Test File for Lib Louis, do the following:
- 1. You will need to build a spreadsheet that has 1 column. You should name that column “Text.”
- 2. Save that spreadsheet as a CSV file.
- Navigate to the Test Builder and open it.
- 3. Upload the CSV file that you want to create a test YAML.
- 4. Once the CSV file is uploaded, navigate to the combo box and choose the project you want. Select the project by pressing the Spacebar.
- 5. Navigate to the Create Test File button. Niv Louie will generate the YAML file with both Print and Braille columns.
- 6. A dialog box will pop up and expect you to name the file. Name it and press the Save button.
- The YAML file will automatically be downloaded to your downloads folder and will also be saved in your App Data/Niv Louie folder.
